I have been a postdoctoral researcher at Princeton University since Fall 2020, and before that spent a year as a postdoc at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics (MPIM) in Germany. My primary research interests are in low dimensional topology, in particular "exotic" smooth structures on 4-manifolds, and questions related to the homotopy and isotopy of surfaces in smooth 4-manifolds. I am also passionate about developing new math courses both at Princeton and through the Prison Teaching Initiative. I graduated with my PhD in mathematics from Bryn Mawr College in the spring of 2019.
